Welcome to my official science site. Briefly, I am currently a lab manager, population geneticist, and newbie “bioinformagician” at UC, Davis involved with a pretty wide range of studies… In my vast free time, I also do a bit of contract work on the side.

Past projects in this lab include (but are not limited to) estimating abundance in black-tailed deer populations in the Mendocino National Forest in California using non-invasively collected genetic samples in a mark-recapture framework; using NGS to develop genetic tools for use in paleoecological studies of North Pacific albatrosses; using several NGS techniques (target capture, whole-genome shotgun, RADseq) to elucidate population genomic patterns in canids.

This site contains some info, past and present, about me and my scientific interests and contributions.
